Course Objective

The objective of the course is to provide participants with concrete solutions, strategies and insights on Contingency Planning leading to practical understanding of Business Continuity Planning, Business Impact Analysis, Incident Response Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan. It provides participants with a framework that is aligned with BCP Good Practice Guidelines and ISO 22301 (2012). The course is geared to provide participants with tested  processes and procedures to develop framework for building organizational resilience to deliver an effective response for safeguarding the interests of stakeholders including ability to prepare and execute the plans.

  • Business Continuity Planning, team, testing and exercises
  • Business Continuity Planning process and phases
  • Understanding the leading Business Continuity Planning practices, methodologies and tools.
  • Business Continuity Management program, policy, strategy and tools
  • Designing a practical BCP using a handy developed templates
  • BCM Steering Committee and Terms of Reference
  • Understanding Disaster Recovery Architecture
  • Disaster Response and Recovery: – Planning for response, recovery strategy, options, and third party dependencies.
  • Structure and development of an emergency plan and outline of crisis management
  • Critical Incident management procedures
  • Exercises and preparation of checklist for implementation of Contingency Plan including
  • Business Impact Analysis, BCP and DRP.

Risk Management Certification Examination

IRMT announces commencement of Registration for December 2021 professional examination session. The registration is divided into three levels; Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), Certified Financial Services Risk Specialist (CFSRS) and Certified Risk Management Technician (CRMT).
